MECHANICAL ENGINEER / BIKE ENGINEER
For our Zurich office, we are seeking a highly skilled mechanical Bike Design Engineer to join our product development team (80-100%) as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and significant experience with bicycle development within the bike industry.
As a Bike Design Engineer, you will join Radiates’ Bike Division development team.
You will be responsible for the development of significant and innovative mobility solutions, bikes or components for our customers. You are working in close collaboration with our structural engineers, designers, and product managers as well as suppliers and customers. You are managing the whole workstream from concept creation, solution evaluation, design and engineering, CAD modeling and implementation. In our in-house prototyping lab you will test and validate your designs, bringing ideas to life in super short iteration cycles.
You will work closely with our partners and customers to ensure that our products meet all relevant requirements, standards and needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to drive the development of cutting-edge products shaping future mobility solutions.

3D CAD MODELER (CAD KONSTRUKTEUR/IN)
For our Zurich office, we are seeking a highly skilled 3D CAD Modeler (CAD Konstrukteur/In) to join our product development team (60-100%) as soon as possible.
Radiate Engineering & Design is specialized in developing innovative mobility solutions and products ranging from Bikes to UAVs and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D CAD modelling and implementation of mechanical systems, functions, forms and structures in the digital domain. Ideally with a passion and strong interest for bikes.
As a 3D CAD Modeler, you will join the development team working within the Radiates’ Bike and UAV Division.
You will be responsible for designing and modelling bicycle structures, bike components as well as UAV structures as well as toolings and moulds using CAD systems (and especially both parametric modelling and freeform techniques). You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create accurate and robust models that meet all relevant requirements and standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing models as needed, and for ensuring that all models are properly documented and organised. You will submit designs to accurate design for manufacturing requirements, create production drawings, and communicate with suppliers and customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent 3D modelling skills, being willed and motivated to work in a cross-functional team together with Design Engineers, Structural Engineers and Industrial Designers.

STRUCTURAL SIMULATION ENGINEER
For our Zurich office, we seek a highly skilled Structural Simulation Engineer to join our product development team (80-100%) as soon as possible.
Radiate Engineering & Design is specialized in developing innovative and lightweight products and solutions ranging from Bikes to UAVs and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and significant experience with structural simulation embedded in a product development process, as well as advanced (python) programming skills.
As a Structural Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for using simulation software and techniques to analyze and optimize the structural integrity and performance of products, structures, and mechanical solutions. By means of simulation, you will open up new innovation fields, pushing the boundaries for our clients. You will also perform mechanical testing in our in-house lab using different types of sensors, data acquisition, and post-processing methods to optimize the simulation models and correlate reality.
You will work closely with our design engineers and customers to ensure that our products meet all relevant requirements, standards, and specifications, embedding simulation technologies early in the development process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to drive the development of cutting-edge products that push the boundaries of what is possible.
