Relaunch of the legendary Swiss bicycle brand Cilo

Radiate Engineering & Design was featured in the latest issue of Cyclinfo with an in-depth article on our collaboration with SEMG to relaunch the legendary Swiss bicycle brand Cilo.

As engineering partner, Radiate supported the development of a brand-new E-MTB product family – from concept to series production. The project included six fully-suspended models in carbon and aluminium, covering everything from light-assist trail bikes to enduro machines.

Our team brought in-depth expertise across the full development cycle, including:

• Simulation-driven frame design and structural analysis (FEA)
• Scalable DFM-ready constructions
• Component commonization strategies for cost efficiency
• Prototyping for fast design validation and iteration

This project is a strong example of what happens when vision, method, and engineering come together.
