Cargo drone successfully launched a Logistics & Distribution fair

Logistics & Distribution is the national industry event in Switzerland for intralogistics, distribution and e-logistics.

At this year’s show, a group of companies, including Radiate Engineering, successfully presented a new concept for a Swiss cargo drone. The concept was developed in cooperation with the companies AirRails, HS Composite und WiDV under the leadership of the Schweizerischer Verband Ziviler Drohnen (SVZD).

The new cargo drone is designed for the fast transport of smaller packages up to 2.5 kg and flies within optimized air corridors with a traveling speed of 60 km/h. All the safety systems required by The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) are on board. The drone is operated by an easy to use and safe app on the smartphone.

Overall, the cargo drone is ideal for B2B applications and was therefore met with great interest from the industry at the Logistics & Distribution fair.

Further information on the new cargo drone can be requested by mail to info@drohnenverband.ch from the two board members Reto Büttner and Severin Leuenberger of the Schweizerischer Verband Ziviler Drohne.

Radiate is very happy to be part of the successful launch of this project, which will hopefully be a lot of fun in the future!
